Producer prices in agriculture are rising by 22% per year

The index of producer prices in agriculture rises by 22% on a yearly basis for the first quarter of 2011, the National Statistic Institute (NSI) announced.
Prices in plant-growing rose by 54,7%, and in stock breeding – by 10,1%.
Increase has been indicated in cereal crops as well: by 71,3%, industrial crops by 41,7%, cattle – 4,5% and animal products – 14,9%.
Higher prices of soft wheat has also been reported – by 77,9%, maize – 67,1%, sunflower – 100,7%, pigs – 3,2%, milk – 24,8%.
The index of the prices of the producer funds, invested in agriculture for the first quarter of 2011 is 11,4% higher than the reached level for the first quarter of 2010.
The prices of the following are also higher: mineral fertilizers (up with 9,4%), electricity and fuel (23,8%), plant protection products (0,1%), veterinary medicinal products (0,8%) and fodder (17,7%).
The price increase in agricultural produce is a forecast indicator for the consumer goods prices, product of agriculture.
